Work Visa
Anyone planning to engage in work activities in the United States or Canada for a specified period requires a work permit and a temporary residence visa. In most cases, work authorizations are issued based on a formal job offer approved by government authorities.
Once the job offer is approved, a validation will be issued and sent to the respective consular authorities. If the employer decides to extend the work period, additional procedures may be required.
Since a work permit is not an immigration document, a visa is necessary to work temporarily in the United States or Canada. The temporary residence visa must be applied for online through the official website of each country.

- Completing the application form.
- Providing reference letters from current and previous employers.
- Holding a valid passport with enough blank pages for the visa.
- Submitting recent passport-sized photos.
- Paying the required application fee.
- Demonstrating the necessary education, professional experience, and proficiency in English or French as required.
- Providing a description of previous jobs and positions held.
- Proving to the visa officer that all requirements under U.S. or Canadian immigration law are met.
- Being in good health and presenting a medical exam for stays longer than six months.
- Demonstrating a clean criminal record and ensuring there is no risk to national security.
